MEETING PROGRAM: Live Storytelling Performances

Guest Speakers: Colleen Craig and Jean Moelter

Prepare to be entertained as Colleen and Jean weave their stories, captivate you with their words, and leave you laughing!

Colleen is a writer and editor who's been a member of The Monday Club for four years. She started performing at the Reboot (a local storytelling group) several years ago because she appreciated the experience of gathering together without phones or laptops, and continuing a tradition of thousands of years: sharing our experiences as a way to understand ourselves, and others. She likes to quote the poet and novelist Muriel Rukeyser: "The universe is not made of atoms; but of stories."  Colleen's  story is "Sounds Like a Book Report, But Just Wait!"

Jean Moelter is a writer, performer, mom, and grandmom. She often tells her true stories on local stages and is usually pretty funny. Her hilarious audiobook “Holy Crap! Memoir of a Catholic Girl” is available wherever audiobooks are sold.

Jean will tell her story about parenting gone wrong: “Adventure on the Very High Seas.”
